Photographs, documents, letters, everyday objects tell us a lot about the fate of thousands of emigrants who emigrated from Poland over the decades, as well as immigrants who found their home in Poland. They tell us about their joys, their sorrows, their longings and dreams. About important moments in their lives, breakthrough decisions, great achievements and ordinary (extraordinary) everyday life. The Emigration Museum in Gdynia has been collecting traces of biographies of extraordinary people for over 10 years and has been trying to create a common multithreaded story about emigration.
